Methodology

The reliance on IT for mid-size organisations is as critical to business operations as its is for Australia's top 100 Organisations. For Instance network reliability, access to email, internet and availability of databases and applications are as important to a 20 person company as they are for the largest banks.

Discovery

Prior to recommending any IT solution, Accucom Systems Integration's IT professionals meet with your permanent and IT operations staff. Together we identify and prioritise business objectives and discuss the impact of any changes to your environment. We take into account your current IT skill set and leverage the investment already made in existing IT infrastructure.

An aspect of this discovery process is often a physical audit of the existing network and server infrastructure including architecture, configuration, security considerations and current policies and procedures. This process establishes  an objective baseline from which to present an appropriate infrastructure design or manage service offering.  We also consider our customer's financial requirements to determine whether purchasing, leasing or bundled services is the right solution for them. We also leverage our long term relationships with our vendors to ensure that our clients receive the best possible deal.

Design

Accucom Systems Integration works with our strategic vendor partner's to provide the best solution to meet your business needs. When designing a Network and Security, Data Storage and Protection or Managed IT service to our clients, Accucom Systems Integration architects and system engineers employ best-of-breed technologies, balanced with the need to keep the proposed infrastructure as manageable as possible, given a company's existing resources.

Each design is reviewed internally by Accucom Systems Integration's technical director then presented to our client to ensure that it meets their strategic business objectives, financial requirements and management/support capabilities.

Deployment

A successful IT Infrastructure or Managed Service deployment is critical to your business and to ours. Your goal is to meet your business objectives and to receive the best possible value. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and create a satisfied, long-term client that will work with us in future engagements and provide references.

Each project deployment is assigned to an Accucom Project Manager who schedules and assigns the appropriate IT professional for each engagement. Our solutions are deployed adhering to industry best-practices and OEM installation recommendations. Each deployment takes into consideration a client's resource allocation, personnel schedules and allowable/reasonable downtime, in order to create minimal impact on business operations.

Training and Documentation

During the course of any design deployment, Accucom encourages as much knowledge transfer as possible with our client's IT staff. This may often require addition formalised classroom or web-based training prior to a deployment. In such a case, Accucom will recommend the vendors or preferred training partners.

Support

How well our clients are able to confidently and effectively manage and support a deployed infrastructure is even more important, long-term, than the validity of the design itself. Accucom's managed IT services offer ongoing remote and on-site technical expertise to augment and support our clients IT staff. These service engagements may be prioritised for a limited ramp-up period or for a long-time service contract with Service Level Agreements customised to meet each individual clients needs. Accucom can also offer a full outsourced helpdesk to minimise the ongoing support costs.
